Carnegie Players present…

“Dial M for Murder”

by Frederick Knott

The Carnegie Players are proud to present the much-loved thriller, Dial M for Murder at the Carnegie Arts Centre from Friday 25th to Monday 28th March.

When ex-tennis pro Tony discovers his wealthy socialite wife Sheila is in love with another man, he plans to take drastic action to preserve everything he values in his marriage.

Ex tennis pro Tony Wendice and his wealthy socialite wife, Shelia have the seemingly perfect marriage. But things are not quite what they seem. When Tony discovers Sheila’s dalliance with TV writer Max Halliday, he sets the wheels in motion to preserve everything he values in the marriage.

And when Max returns from New York a year after the discovery, everything comes to a head and Sheila is put in a very serious position.

Dial M for Murder is a tale of intrigue, betrayal and murder that will keep you in suspense until the very last minute. Made famous by Alfred Hitchcock in 1954, it is the genre-defining thriller, designed to keep the audience on tenterhooks until the very end.

The production stars Pádraig Rochford as the charismatic and manipulative Tony, Carnegie newcomer Jeremy Kynaston as Max and Terry O’Doherty as the formidable Inspector Hubbard, determined to solve the crime. Michael O’Sullivan is Captain Lesgate and Jude Claybourne plays Sheila Wendice.

The show is directed by Emer Guihan, with support from Brendan Grant. It runs for four nights, from Friday 25th to Monday 28th March. Tickets are available at the box office, on 064 6648701 or online at https://www.carnegieartskenmare.ie
