Mike Lewisohn’s work emerges from instinct, memory, and the quiet power of nature.  Living and painting in Co. Clare, Mike approaches each canvas as a journey – allowing colour, texture, and imagination to guide the process.  Inspired by places both real and remembered, his paintings evoke moments of stillness, reflection, and possiblilty.

Often centered around a distant hill, solitary tree, or shimmering reflection, his work invites the viewer inward – towards spaces of hope, freedom, peace, and understanding.

Educated at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen and Limerick School of Art & Design, Mike has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and the UK since as an art teacher, gallery coordinator, and exhibition installer, bringing a lifelong dedication to the visual arts.
