SUMMARY:Kenmare Arts Festival 2026 - Painting Exhibition by Mike Lewisohn
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition of New Paintings by Mike Lewisohn\nPainter. Storyteller.  Deeply connected to the Irish landscape.\n2nd to 16th August\nAdmission: Free\nMike Lewisohn’s work emerges from instinct\, memory\, and the quiet power of nature.  Living and painting in Co. Clare\, Mike approaches each canvas as a journey – allowing colour\, texture\, and imagination to guide the process.  Inspired by places both real and remembered\, his paintings evoke moments of stillness\, reflection\, and possiblilty.\nOften centered around a distant hill\, solitary tree\, or shimmering reflection\, his work invites the viewer inward – towards spaces of hope\, freedom\, peace\, and understanding.\nEducated at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen and Limerick School of Art & Design\, Mike has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and the UK since as an art teacher\, gallery coordinator\, and exhibition installer\, bringing a lifelong dedication to the visual arts.\n“Atmospheric. Meditative. Unmistakably Irish”\n\n  \n
