MNÁ comprises Tara Viscardi (harp, voice), Kathleen Sarsfield-O’ Shea (flute, guitar, voice), Jess Collins (fiddle, dancing, voice), Tara McCarthy (fiddle, viola, voice) and Phoebe Harty (cello, voice). All members are passionate about bringing their musical traditions to wider audiences and strive to merge traditional Irish, English folk and contemporary music in an innovative way while remaining true to their roots. The group have performed at venues including the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith, London Irish Centre, Hackney Folk Club, Fire on the Mountain Festival and the Jamboree King’s Cross. Active musicians on the traditional, folk and classical scenes across the UK and Ireland, their music has featured on BBC and RTÉ radio.
